Megan Puzia is a biostatistician with the APPROACHES team at WSU. She has been collaborating with Drs. Oluwoye and Kriegel since 2022, providing statistical support across a range of research projects. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah (2017) and has over a decade of experience of training in statistics and applying statistical methods to behavioral health research.

Her research background is in the development of suicide and nonsuicidal self-injury in vulnerable populations. Currently, she is especially interested in leveraging statistical expertise to improve study design and data collection, supporting research teams in refining their methods and making the most of their data. She is passionate about advancing data-driven research on mental health and marginalized populations, striving to make complex analyses both accessible and meaningful.

Outside of work, she enjoys deep diving into NFL player stats and using her statistical skills to optimize her fantasy football team.
