The Addressing Pathways to Provide & Achieve Equitable Services & Supports (APPROACHES) to Community Mental Health Collab, housed in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University, is a group of multidisciplinary community-minded scholars committed to creating pathways for community integration for people experiencing serious mental illnesses.
Our foci include health equity, early psychosis, structural interventions, belonging and sense of community, and the intersections between mental health, the criminal legal, and housing systems. We have worked with partners throughout Washington State and nationally to elevate the voices of those with serious mental illness and their families and to improve outcomes through research and collaboration.
