Elias Sandoval has worked for Dr. Oluwoye in APPROACHES and PRISM since early 2025. As a Research Coordinator I, he primarily focuses on supporting the New Journeys Evaluation by contributing to the technical assistance team. His interests are in culturally-informed care and mental health treatment accessibility. He also has a passion for community outreach and translating research results back to the communities we serve. His research thus far has investigated the disclosure experiences of undocumented college students and its impact on mental health.
Outside of work, he loves film and photography, and is an avid listener of hip-hop.
