She is also a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and has taught MHFA classes to dozens of partner organizations throughout Washington State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wsu-font-size--medium\">Prior to coming to WSU, Julia worked in direct care roles in the social services field for 15 years, and has extensive experience working with children, youth and adults with serious mental illnesses and substance use disorders in lockdown, residential, outpatient, and clinical settings.
